Welcome to Grad School: A Workshop

If you are a new master’s or PhD student, you probably have lots of questions! Many aspects of graduate education rely on things that you’re expected to know without anyone actually explaining them to you.

Join us for a new workshop from the Centre for Graduate Professional Development on October 2, 12:00-1:30 p.m., in which we will discuss common practices and principles of graduate education that are often left implicit. We’ll consider a range of topics designed to help you understand your new role as a graduate student. This workshop covers content on your development as a researcher that will be most relevant to research-stream master’s and PhD students; however, all students who have recently started a new graduate degree at U of T are welcome to register.
