As a graduate student, you may work in multiple roles at U of T, and this has implications for your intellectual property rights and how you interact with the intellectual property of others in your research activities. Join us for a workshop on intellectual property, collaboration, commercialization and entrepreneurship specifically for graduate student researchers. Facilitated by Jennifer Fraser, Director of Innovation in the Innovations & Partnerships Office, this workshop will cover essential topics for graduate students at U of T, including:
- Understanding your intellectual property rights, including in the context of working with a research supervisor or collaborators
- Commercializing intellectual property arising from your research
- Working with confidential information or intellectual property from an external sponsor
