Learn strategies to develop self-compassion and reduce self-criticism. This workshop supports students who find they tend to be their own harshest critic.
Managing Imposterism
“I’m faking it.” “I’m not as capable as my classmates.” “I don’t belong here.” Do these thoughts play in your head from time to time? It is very common among post-secondary students to sometimes feel like an imposter. Learn more about this phenomenon and how to manage these thoughts and feelings with less distress.

Hacking Perfectionism
High expectations and unrealistic standards. Accomplishments that never seem good enough. Harsh judgement on self-worth and achievement. Sound familiar? Perfectionism might be holding you back and even lead to burnout, depression, and anxiety.
By helping you remove barriers to academic and personal success, this workshop will empower you to:
- Better understand how perfectionism keeps your goals out of reach
- Identify thoughts and behaviors related to perfectionism and learn tools to overcome those thoughts and behaviours

Feeling too busy to manage stress effectively as a university student? Come learn about the benefits of restorative breath, try new techniques for relaxation such as muscle tension reduction, and learn practical tips for taking time to pause and recharge.

This workshop will provide you with information about what therapy is and who can provide it, including:
- A range of supports that help you feel better and be well
- Finding therapists who fit certain needs and preferences, especially for marginalized communities
- Insurance coverage and how to use it
- How to start therapy
