Virtual Science Café: What does talent in sport look like? – November 19

Graduate students are invited to join the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education (KPE) for a virtual Science Café on talent in sport, exploring the perspectives of researchers, coaches, scouts and parents on developing and supporting athletic talent.

KPE faculty will be joined by speakers from Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) and Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO) to discuss the core research issues, the key challenges in recognizing and nurturing potential, and how talent in sport is defined and measured.
