UTM Graduate Professional Development Conference February 19-20

UTM’s Office of the Vice-Principal, Academic & Dean is excited to invite all U of T graduate students to UTM’s Graduate Professional Development Conference (GPDC) taking place in-person at U of T’s Mississauga campus February 19 to 20.

The conference theme is Communication in Graduate School. Sessions for the conference include:

  • Before You Go Public: Crafting Your Professional Identity
  • Speaking with Confidence: Managing Nerves in Academic Presentations
  • Sharing Your Professional Story: Mastering the “Tell Me About Yourself” Question
  • Writing for Publication: Considerations for Manuscript Preparation
  • Communicating Research: Social Media Strategies for Engaging Non-Experts
  • How to Get the Most Out of Your IDP Process
  • Having Courageous Conversations
