Grad Connections: Managing Conflict (Online) in the Lab Environment
Thursday, May 7
12:00pm- 1:00pm
The lab is a complex working and research environment where simple miscommunication can often lead to difficult working relationships and disrupted research. While many grad students are no longer able to be in the lab on campus, the issues they dealt with previously can carry over into their work from home and with colleagues online. Join the G2G Peer Advisors from the Graduate Conflict Resolution Centre for an online discussion about the challenges of working in a lab environment, how to manage miscommunication and conflicting interests, and ways your plan on making your research experience more positive and productive long-term.
