University of Toronto Libraries is looking for members for our Library Student Advisory Committee. You’ll be asked to share your ideas and feedback to help improve library services, spaces and programs. If you care about libraries and student experience and you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
Who can apply: Undergraduate and graduate students from any faculty are welcome. We encourage applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and levels of familiarity with the library. Students from equity-deserving groups are especially encouraged to apply.
What to expect: Committee members are asked to volunteer their time to attend in-person meetings at Robarts Library, review services, and provide feedback. Benefits to participating in the community include student leadership experience, networking with Library administration and staff, access to future opportunities at the Library and building community among student leaders.
Meeting dates:
– October 1, 2026: 3–4 p.m.
– November 10, 2026: 3–4 p.m.
– February 9, 2027: 3–4 p.m.
– April 15, 2027: 3–4 p.m.
*Free food and refreshments offered at each meeting!
