Upcoming: Converging Crises: Transgender Health and Activism in 2021
The Transgender Professional Association for Transgender Health’s (TPATH) inaugural conference, entitled Converging Crises: Transgender Health and Activism in 2021, will take place virtually on July 31st and August 1st, 2021.
Trans communities around the globe are affected by the convergent crises of politically motivated attacks, rollbacks of civil and human rights, neglectful and abusive healthcare systems, police and state-sanctioned violence, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. But we are not all affected equally. TPATHs inaugural conference will grapple with these and other complex issues.
Full details can be found (in English, Français, and Español) can be downloaded through the website.
Registration is $50 USD, but we have a generous scholarship policy and ask, if you would like to attend the conference but are unable to pay the full registration fee, that you please email firstname.lastname@example.org with “scholarship” in the header, affirming that you are transgender and/or intersex, identifying your need for the scholarship, and how much of one you need (e.g. 20%, 50%, 100%).
