Join University of Toronto President Melanie Woodin and a panel of graduate and undergraduate students for a discussion on the challenges and opportunities for dialogue across differences on our campuses. Moderated by Provostial Advisor on Civil Discourse, Professor Alex Hernandez, this event offers a chance to hear from President Woodin and U of T students on how our university can support productive discussion on difficult topics and help our community learn to disagree well.
The event will be followed by a reception with refreshments and informal opportunities to foster dialogue and connection with other attendees, and will be simulcast to UTM and UTSC (see registration page for more information).
Date: Tuesday, September 1
Time: 2-3:30 p.m. (panel); 3:30-5 p.m. (reception)
