Thank You to Luc De Nil

Gradschool e-news would like to extend a tremendous thank you to Professor Luc De Nil, who has been serving as Acting Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Acting Vice-Provost, Graduate Research & Education for the last eight months and as Vice-Dean, Students at SGS since 2012.

A professor of Speech-Language Pathology, Luc was instrumental in updating the SGS Graduate Supervision Guidelines, an essential resource for faculty and for students in research-stream programs. He has also been a long-time advocate of initiatives and resources that support academic success, graduate student wellness, conflict resolution, and academic integrity at the graduate level.

Dean Joshua Barker will return to SGS on January 1, 2019. Professor Charmaine Williams will continue in this role until June 30, 2019. Gradschool e-news will announce the results of the Vice-Dean, Students search in the Winter term.
