Looking for hands-on teaching experience? TATP Teaching Practicums offer graduate students the opportunity to put teaching knowledge into practice, receive meaningful feedback, and reflect on their development as educators.
Previously available only through TATP certificate programs, Teaching Practicums are now open to all graduate students. Whether you’re exploring teaching for the first time or building your instructional experience, you can participate in a practicum as a standalone professional development activity and apply it toward a certificate at a later date.
Current practicum opportunities include Teaching Observations, Microteaching Sessions, Peer Review Sessions, Statement of Teaching Philosophy Clinics, and Teaching Dossier Consultations. Whether you are looking to receive feedback on your teaching, refine your teaching materials, or strengthen your teaching portfolio, there is a practicum to support your goals.
