Summer job opportunities with the Sustainability Catalyst Internship Program – apply by March 1

The Sustainability Catalyst Internship Program offers paid, part‑time work experience for master’s and PhD students. Interns are employed by the University and earn $31.10/hour plus benefits while contributing 250 hours from May to September to an applied research project with a public, private, or non-profit sector host organization.

As a member of the internship cohort, you’ll also receive professional development workshops, networking opportunities, and project management support from both your host organization’s project mentor and the Sustainability Catalyst Project Manager.

Internships are open to students enrolled in any full-time graduate program in the 2025-2026 academic year at U of T. This is a non-appointed role with the University of Toronto.

Learn more about the program and how to apply at sustainability.utoronto.ca/catalyst. 2026 internship postings and the date for our February job application workshop and internship Q&A will be available soon.
