Aug. 25 & 28: Submit and Publish Your Thesis

As part of the graduation process, you will be submitting an electronic copy of your thesis or dissertation that will become publicly available online upon your convocation. This workshop will be most beneficial for those who are in the process of writing their thesis or getting close to submission. This 2- part workshop is offered jointly by the School of Graduate Studies and Library staff. 

When: Part 1: Tuesday, August 25, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM; 

Part 2: Friday, August 28, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM 

Where: Online workshop

GPS Credit: 0.33 each session (Research-Related Skills) 

Part 1 will cover thesis submission requirements, process, fees and deadlines for SGS, thesis templates and embargos, convocation, and tips for formatting in MS Word 

Part 2 will cover author rights and copyright considerations, turning your thesis into a book, and considerations when publishing before or after graduation
