The Graduate Centre for Academic Communication (GCAC) offers a number of valuable free, non-credit courses that can help you grow into proficient academic communicators – both written and verbal – of your research. The courses cover the conventions of graduate writing, revising to achieve flow and clarity, oral presentation skills, academic conversation skills, and prewriting strategies to organize and develop your ideas as you navigate through scholarly literature in your research.
Most GCAC courses have multiple sections to choose from. You can check the Fall 2025 schedule or download a pdf version. You may register for a maximum of two GCAC courses at a time.
Some courses begin this week, so register now!
