Safety Abroad Workshop

Students (both grad and undergrad) looking to participate in a University sponsored program overseas are required to participate in a safety abroad workshop. The purpose of these workshops is to inform students of some of the difficulties that they may encounter while abroad and to discuss mitigation strategies as well as the role of the University in crisis support.

Topics to be discussed include health insurance, immunizations and travel health, theft and scams, general travel advice, and emergency procedures.
