Ready to view and print: online 2025 T2202 and T4A tax receipts

The T2202 forms are tuition and education receipts issued for income tax purposes to all students who paid tuition in the previous calendar year. The forms are now available for viewing/printing on ACORN. Forms are not mailed out to students.

Effective January 1, 2025, the University of Toronto will only provide the T4A form through ACORN. If you require a physical copy to be mailed to you, please submit a request.

Note that students who receive awards/fellowships and stipendiary support from their supervisors’ research grants will receive two separate T4A’s from the University: one from student account via ACORN, and the other from the payroll system accessible via the University’s Employee Self Service (ESS) portal. Be sure to download and report the income from both T4A’s.

Remember, you must record your Social Insurance Number (SIN) on ACORN so it can be included on your Form T2202 and T4A. For those who don’t, there may be a financial penalty to you and the University from the Canada Revenue Agency.  For more information visit the Student Accounts Website.

If you worked for the University of Toronto in a campus job such as a work study student, teaching assistant, or research assistant, you can access your T4 through the University’s Employee Self Service (ESS) portal.
