Are you interested in engaging in an international work experience through a paid summer term?
The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship Program (QES Program) is a great opportunity to engage in paid international work or research for the Summer of 2019. Please see below for opportunities that focus on social impact, literacy, scientific research, education, community development or Indigenous advocacy. All opportunities are open to graduate students:
Literacy and Indigenous Language Education
Language preservation, program implementation, community development, ESL teaching, research and needs-based education for differently abled children in Rwanda and India
Inclusive Innovation for Development
Social impact and entrepreneurship education and development in Cape Town, South Africa
Establishing Right Relations (TRINITY)
Research around economic development of Indigenous peoples in Commonwealth countries in Australia, New Zealand, Belize and Guyana
Immunology and Sustainable International Partnership (TRINITY)
Collaborative scholarship program with a focus on women’s health, infectious diseases, cancer, and knowledge translation in Australia, South Africa, Kenya and India
Enhancing Health and Science Education and Research
Knowledge Translation, research, counselling, survey testing, and educational materials development for cancer research and awareness in Nairobi, Kenya
Successful candidates receive $7,000 toward a 90-day internship. All QES applicants are responsible for securing a course for credit for their summer term. All opportunities are open to undergraduate and graduate students.
The deadline for Summer 2019 opportunities is January 13, 2019 for CIE opportunities. The deadline for TRINITY opportunities will be announced shortly. TRINITY opportunities are open to all students.
