Practise Speaking English for Post-Doctoral Researchers (PD1):  This series of classes gives International Post-Doctoral Researchers practice talking about their research and other topics in English. The class will cover English grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary expansion and will provide opportunities to practise speaking. The goal is to help participants improve their English speaking and listening skills important for academic presentations, answering questions, interviews, and conversations with co-workers, supervisors, and new friends in Canada.

Practise Speaking English for Post-Doctoral Researchers (PD2)—Specialized Classes:  This series of classes is for speakers of Mandarin and Cantonese who are further developing English communication skills  and prefer specialized communication classes. These classes give International Post-Doctoral Researchers (and interested Graduate Students) the opportunity to improve their English speaking skills in discussing their research and other topics. There will be a combination of in-class discussions and out-of-class field trips. Each participant/learner will also have the opportunity for a personal coaching session to work on their pronunciation. (Please note that Graduate Students will need to contact the CIE ECP Office in order to register.)
