Postdoctoral Fellowship in Indigenous Politics (U of T)
The University of Toronto’s Department of Political Science is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to support Dr. Uahikea Maile’s research projects in the newly launched Indigenous Politics Collaboratory (IPC). This is a collaborative research lab, in the Faculty of Arts and Science’s Department of Political Science, with a global vision to develop critical studies of Indigenous politics, policy, and praxis.
Responsibilities: The inaugural research fellow in the lab will work with Dr. Maile in designing, executing, and publishing two (2) large research projects focused on the intersection of extractivism and decolonization in contemporary Indigenous political movements. In doing so, they will also work with Dr. Maile on community outreach activities and knowledge dissemination related to various research projects. The fellow will also collaborate with other lab staff to support administrative operations as needed.
