Nov. 20 – 22: Exploring Difference
Exploring Difference 2020: What difference does difference make? is a 2 ½ day online workshop taking place on November 20-22, 2020.
This unique experiential learning opportunity is a chance to explore and learn more about the conscious and unconscious group dynamics which shape our relations to each other, to difference, to various forms of authority, and multiple belongings in real time – all in the context of uncertainty and the devastating effects of the pandemic, racisms, and economic disaster.
The grave uncertainty with which we are all grappling provokes individual, group and organizational anxieties as well as the resistances, denials, and disavowals that help us cope. But this uncertainty also provokes new insights and new ways of working together as leaders, activists, and community members, and enables us to become more curious and reflective. The Exploring Difference workshop offers a space to connect with ourselves, with others, and the various roles we take up.
