Nominate an extraordinary graduate supervisor who has made a meaningful impact on their students’ development as a researcher, and who fosters a supportive and stimulating academic environment!
New for 2026, SGS is pleased to introduce the SGS Mid Career Supervision Award, recognizing the important contributions of faculty in the middle stages of their supervisory careers.
Six awards are now granted annually across three categories:
- JJ Berry Smith Doctoral Supervision Award
- NEW:Â Mid-Career Supervision Award
- Early Career Supervision Award
Each category includes two awards, distinguished by disciplinary focus: one in the Humanities/Social Sciences and one in the Physical/ Life Sciences.
