Network for Healthy Populations Graduate & Trainee Awards

The Network for Healthy Populations Graduate and Trainee Awards support graduate students and postdoctoral fellows conducting interdisciplinary research to improve metabolic and cardiometabolic health across the life course. Eligible applicants may receive up to $15,000 to advance innovative, equity-focused projects addressing social, structural, behavioural, and environmental determinants of health, with potential to inform policy, practice, and population-level action.

Awardees also join a collaborative training environment that strengthens research, leadership, and knowledge mobilization skills while contributing to healthier populations in Peel Region and beyond.

Applications are open to eligible graduate students and postdoctoral fellows until May 8, 5 p.m.
