Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA) – call for applications – deadline November 20
The Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA) supports research collaborations between Canada, selected partner organizations, and eligible countries and regions. Successful senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows will be funded to conduct a 12-to 24-week research project in another country under the joint supervision of a home and host professor.

Only a limited number of spots remain for projects submitted through the Ministry of Education and Science – Ukraine. To ensure your ongoing projects are considered, please work with the Mitacs local Advisors to submit them as soon as possible, as this offer will close once capacity is reached.
GRA Thematic Call: Save the Date
The Globalink Research Award (GRA) thematic call applications are now open. Final submissions to Mitacs must be completed by November 20. The website link and application details will be shared on the call launch date.
Research Priorities:
- Digital and Emerging technology (AI, advanced computing, cybersecurity, semiconductors)
- Sustainability and Net Zero (electric vehicles, critical minerals, hydrogen, energy transition, oceans, clean technology)
- Life Sciences (biomanufacturing, bioeconomy, agri-food, agri-tech, health sciences)
- Humanities and Social Innovation (open category)
Award Details
Approved recipients will receive funds to support intern travel and accommodation expenses, research-related expenses and stipend.
- $6,000 research award to conduct a 12-to-24-week research project
