Medicine Meets Machine: The Emerging Role of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

When: May 7, 5-8:30 pm
Where: JLABS Toronto, 661 University Ave, Suite 1300

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being used in medicine. This has led to the development of cutting-edge treatments and diagnostic tools. However, a lack of understanding of AI often results in either misplaced distrust in its use, or disregard for potential limitations and ethical consequences. We believe that increasing public engagement and modernizing methods of scientific communication are key ways in which this can be addressed.

Join Raw Talk Podcast in exploring this topic with two distinct panels on: 1) Current Applications & Limitations of AI in Medicine and 2) Ethical & Future Considerations of AI in Medicine. Our panelists will share diverse perspectives from healthcare, academia, industry, and policy development. Refreshments will be served and a networking session will follow.

Panelists: Shreejoy Tripathy, Allan Miranda, Gelareh Zadeh, Marzyeh Ghassemi, Jason Lerch, Oren Kraus, Chris Hammill, Alison Paprica, Elissa Strome
