May 16: Understanding Conflict (CGMS workshop for students)

Date & time: Tuesday, May 16, 9-10:30 am

On Tuesday, May 16, Centre for Graduate Mentorship and Supervision (CGMS) will be hosting a workshop that aims to help participants understand conflict. We will consider how conflict escalates and the meaning of polarities and paradoxes in conflict, as well as examine models for understanding conflict, whether the conflict is incident- or issue-based. Participants will be provided with opportunities to examine conflict cases through the lens of the conflict models, and will practice approaches to working through the examples. Participants should develop a deeper understanding of conflict and ways in which conflict may be resolved.

Please send an email to cgms@utoronto.ca to register.
