March 16-23: Preliminary Heats for the Three-Minute Thesis Competition
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition is open to doctoral students enrolled in Canadian universities. Participants have three minutes or less to present their research to a panel of non-specialist judges, and competitions are held at local, provincial, and national levels. The challenge is to present complex research information in an engaging, accessible, and compelling way.

March 16, 2:30-4:30 pm Division IV Life Sciences – Bissell Building, Faculty of Information, Room 205
March 21, 2:30-4:30 pm Divisions I & II Humanities & Social Sciences – Jackman Humanities Building, Ground-floor multipurpose room
March 23, 2:30-4:30 pm Division III Physical Sciences – Bissell Building, Faculty of Information, Room 205
Winners of each division will present in the U of T-wide competition on April 10, 6-8 pm.
Winners of the U of T finals will compete at the provincial competition at York University on April 19, 2018, 10 am-12 pm.
