Mar 9: Drawing Across the Disciplines: Comics and Graphic Scholarly Works

The Centre for Research & Innovation Support (CRIS) is launching a new series: Drawing Across the Disciplines. This series will focus on Knowledge Translation and Mobilization in a variety of media and formats.

Join us for the launch of the series with a panel discussion on Comics and Graphic Scholarly Works. Non-fiction graphic novels, comics, graphic medicine, and other sequential publications provide researchers a powerful opportunity to connect with peers and with a broader audience thereby increasing their reach and potential research impact. This panel discussion will bring together scholars working in the fields of graphic medicine, linguistics, and creative writing to showcase their recent work and provide insight into how to begin doing this type of work.

When: March 9 @ 10:30 am – 12 pm
