Maintain interest-free status on past student loans and OSAP repayment

If you’re a full-time student receiving OSAP this year, your past loans will remain interest-free once your current enrollment has been confirmed.

Full-time and part-time students not receiving new loans must apply online to continue Interest-Free Status.

Students from other provinces will continue to use the process established by their home province. Please direct OSAP-related questions to the University Registrar’s office at 416-978-2190.

You may need to start paying back your OSAP loan six months after your study period ends to the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC).
