Library workshops: Focused writing, mindful reading, and publishing your thesis
Looking for help with focused writing? Gerstein Science Information Centre is hosting weekly “Shut Up and Write” hybrid sessions during July and August for academic writers within the U of T community to write productively in a communal setting – all disciplines welcome!
Want to practice mindful reading? The libraries, in collaboration with the Academic Success Centre, is running “Mindful Reading” sessions using evidence-based learning strategies and mindfulness practices to help you settle and focus your mind for grad-level reading.
Submitting and publishing your thesis soon? This 2-part workshop on Submitting Your Thesis is meant for graduate students working on their master’s or doctoral dissertations. The workshop is offered jointly by the School of Graduate Studies and Library staff.
