Until Mar. 11: Lead with Pride- LGBTQ2S+ Student Leadership Conference Series

U of T’s annual LGBTQ2S+ leadership conference is back this year as a virtual series of events from Weds. Feb. 24 – Thurs. Mar. 11, 2021! All interested U of T students are encouraged to register for the Lead with Pride Learning Community (register by Feb. 22). No leadership experience necessary.

What is the “Learning Community”?

The “Learning Community” was created in an attempt to keep students connected with one another beyond individual events. We want to offer students the opportunities to connect and make friends, like they would have at an in-person conference. By signing up for the Learning Community, students will have opportunities to connect with each other over Lead with Pride-specific social media channels and within fun and interactive Learning Community events.

Learning Community registrants will also be signed up to attend the much anticipated Lead with Pride Speaker Series featuring an incredible lineup: Denice Frohman (Poet, Performer, Educator), Arsham Parsi (LGBTQ Human Rights Activist) and Ivan Coyote (Performer, Writer)! These speakers will talk about issues that impact LGBTQ2S+ communities and share their thoughts on what meaningful leadership might look like, and on how to build community together, even during this time when we are physically apart.
