Join the Stories from a Distance Community

Stories from a Distance: Being Together While Apart is a virtual space that encourages students and alumni to find community through conversation. Members can expect to be welcomed into a virtual space (over Zoom sessions) created by and for students looking to invest in meaningful connections within their campus community over the Summer.

Whether it be sharing stories as a student, connecting with new individuals, or engaging in virtual activities with one another, this online community connects individuals in a time where isolation (and a need to connect with one another) is being experienced by many. Sessions are on a drop-in basis do not require registration.

This August, we will also be hosting an exciting Research Spotlight Series from August 17th -28th! To learn more about our upcoming sessions, individuals are encouraged to subscribe to the blog and join the  Facebook group to receive updates on weekly programming schedules and resources. Participate as much or as little as you wish – this is a positive and supportive environment where you can just be you.
