Join a study hub

Study Hubs are two-hour sessions in which U of T students support each other in setting and achieving their SMART goals, and this summer, they’ve gone virtual! We’re looking for students—graduate and undergraduate, who would like to support their peers as they do their own work. Please join us for one of the training sessions set up over the next two weeks to learn how to help students overcome their issues with focus, procrastination and time management while working remotely:

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Explain the benefits of SMART goal setting and guide others in setting them
  • Understand the factors that impact the success of a Hub
  • Facilitate a welcoming, quiet virtual space
  • Connect students to helpful resources

Once you’ve completed this training, you will be able to facilitate Virtual Study Hubs on your own schedule, so you can do your own work and support other students at the same time! Please check out the Study Hubs website for more details, and contact jonathan.vandor@utoronto.ca if you have any questions or would like to set an additional training time.
