Grad Career Educator AMA – Job Search and Career Exploration (Online)
January 15, 11–11:30 a.m.
This Ask Me Anything (AMA) session for grad students and postdocs will focus on job search and career exploration strategies. The Graduate Career Educator from Career Exploration & Education will answer your questions and direct you to additional resources on best practices for job searching and career exploration.
Research Your Career (Online)
January 19, 12 p.m.–1:30 p.m.
In this workshop, you will learn how to apply your research skills to explore career options and all aspects of the job search process from networking to creating job application materials and interviewing.
Discover and Communicate Your Career Skills (Online)
January 23, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
In this in-person interactive workshop for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, participants will learn how to identify transferrable skills that apply to non-academic career settings. You will also have the opportunity to practice communicating these skills in relation to the job search process.

Using AI in Career Exploration & Job Searching (Online)
January 26, 3–4:30 p.m.
Curious about how AI can support your career questions? Whether you’re exploring career paths, writing a resume or preparing for interviews, this practical workshop will demonstrate how to use AI tools to support you. Participants will leave with prompts and strategies and an understanding of how to use AI effectively and responsibly in their job search and career exploration.

Job Shadowing Orientation (Online and In-person)

This workshop is an information and training session for the Job Shadowing program. The Job Shadowing Program offers you a short-term opportunity to meet with an employer to explore a career of interest and gain deeper insight into a day-in-a-life of a role. In this workshop, you will learn about how to apply to the program and optimize your job shadowing experience.
