International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (IDERD) Conference – March 21

IDERD 2025 – Cultivating Inclusive Global Communities: Holistic Approaches to Addressing Racial Discrimination in Post-secondary Environments

At a time where the impact of global events can be felt locally within postsecondary communities, the Anti-Racism & Cultural Diversity Office and the Institutional Equity Office in partnership with Hart House invites the university community for a day of dialogue and learning about holistic strategies to address racial discrimination and advance inclusive working and learning environments.

Event objectives:

  • Examine the role of cross-cultural collaboration to enhance and develop tools, resources and strategies to address racial discrimination from a multi-pronged approach.
  • Understand and showcase strategies and resources from international post-secondary institutions that highlight the interconnection between EDI and global perspectives.
