Interdisciplinary Indigenous Student Writing Group
Join us this spring and summer at First Nations House for an interdisciplinary Indigenous student writing group.
Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, these sessions aim to foster peer learning and provide a supportive space for Indigenous students to share ideas and offer feedback on each other’s work. Students are welcome to bring academic writing or creative pieces—the focus is on cultivating mutual creativity and connection.
Sessions will be facilitated by former SAGE coordinator and recent U of T graduate, Kristen Daigle, MSW. Kristen has run multiple writing retreats and sessions over the course of her tenure as SAGE coordinator.
When: The second session will take place June 25 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., with a future session planned for July. (It is not necessary to join all three sessions to benefit from the space!)
Where: First Nations House (seminar room), North Borden, 563 Spadina Crescent
Please note these sessions are primarily geared to Indigenous students (First Nation, Inuit, and Métis) from the University of Toronto. Please email sage@utoronto.ca with any questions!
