Indigenous students are invited to join the hand drumming circle series focused on connection, community, and wellness.
This summer series provides a welcoming and culturally grounded space to connect through drumming, songs, teachings and sharing. Through guided drumming, song, and sharing, participants can explore practices that support holistic wellbeing across the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions. Teachings and songs will be shared from various Indigenous Nations allowing space for shared learning.
No previous drumming experience is needed.
What you will gain:

- Build coping skills through connection with peers, staff, and community in a supportive, welcoming environment
- Learn about wellness supports and services available to students.
- Reconnect with culture, identity, community, and tradition in a meaningful way.

Students are welcome to participate in as many sessions as they are able.
