The Graduate Centre for Academic Communication (GCAC) offers free, intensive 6-hour courses for all graduate students on writing CIHR/NSERC/SSHRC proposals in mid-August. Click the relevant grant to register:

New to attending graduate school in an English language environment?
GCAC offers a free, intensive 15-hour course on Academic Conversation Skills from August 10–14 inclusive for incoming graduate students who speak English as an additional language.
On-demand workshops are always available.
Writing Centre consultations are available throughout July. In these 40-minute sessions, trained instructors work with graduate students at any stage of the writing process (outlining, drafting, revising, etc.)
