Graduating in June 2021?

Virtual June Ceremony   

Please note that the Chancellor will be conferring degrees on our June 2021 grads in a virtual ceremony on June 23, 2021. Your diploma will be couriered to you at your permanent address. Please ensure that you have a permanent address on ACORN, and that it is up to date by June 1, 2021.  When your diploma is ready for shipping, the tracking number will be sent to your UTmail email account directly from the courier company. Diplomas will be couriered in the weeks following the virtual ceremony. 

Need graduation photos?  

We are unable to offer onsite graduate photo sessions this spring. Please contact CanGrad or New Paramount Studios to book appointments directly when these businesses are able to book graduate photo sessions. 

Have outstanding fees?  

Diplomas will be held for students who owe fees, and a financial hold will be placed on your financial account and transcripts and confirmation of degree letters will not be released until fees have been paid. Please note that owing a balance of degree fee only is the exception to the diploma hold rule.  

Fees for doctoral students in their final year are based on the date the final thesis is submitted to SGS. Fees are adjusted by the end of the month. Refer to the Graduate Fees tables for complete details.
