Grad Minds Webinar Series Session 2 – How Feeling Like An Imposter Impacts Your Learning
Have you ever felt like you do not belong at university? Do you doubt your abilities and think that you are not smart enough? Do you ever feel like you don’t deserve to be here? These feelings are common among undergraduate and graduate students and are often referred to as “imposter syndrome”. Join Dr. Jasjit Sangha on Tuesday, October 6th where she discusses some of the common ways that impostor syndrome can manifest in an academic environment, how it can impact your learning, and strategies that can be used to strengthen self-awareness and lessen the impact of these feelings.

Grad Minds Yoga Class
Join the UTGSU Grad Minds Team on Wednesday, September 30th for a free Facebook Live yoga class! The class is led by certified yoga instructor Josh Cooper who will lead you through a restorative Hatha Flow Yoga class. All levels are welcome. The yoga class will be live-streamed on the Grad Minds Facebook page. These classes will run through the semester every Wednesday so don’t forget to check them out!

October Town Hall Meeting
Are you passionate about improving graduate mental health and wellbeing on campus? If so, Grad Minds wants to hear from you on Wednesday, October 7th! This meeting is open to all U of T graduate students who want to know more about Grad Minds, share their ideas on how to improve student wellbeing, or get involved with our projects, initiatives, and events throughout the year. Logo Design Contest
It is time for change here at Grad Minds! We are currently holding a contest and calling for submissions for the design of our new logo! Entries must be submitted via the Grad Minds Logo Design Google Form by Tuesday, October 13th. The contest will then be followed by voting and selection period in October-November. The winner will be announced in December. The top prize will be a $100 gift card, while two runner ups will win a $50 gift card. More details can be found here.
