GCAC SSHRC Master’s Proposal course and new workshops

The Graduate Centre for Academic Communication (GCAC) offers a wide range of non-credit courses to support students at every stage of their graduate degrees.

In early October, we are offering our three-week Writing SSHRC Master’s Proposals course.

Designed for students in the Humanities and Social Sciences who are applying for SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada) Master’s Scholarships, concepts examined will also be relevant to students applying for an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), and OGS applicants are welcome to register. Over three weeks, you’ll learn strategies for clarifying the content, structure, and style of your proposal and common errors you’ll want to avoid.

November graduate writing and academic speaking courses will open for registration at 10 a.m. on October 6.
