For international students: Off-campus housing workshops (online)

Are you an international student looking for a place to rent this upcoming academic year? Housing Services in partnership with CIE will host two sessions over the summer (one in June and the second one in July), where you will learn some essential need-to-knows for international students planning to rent in the Greater Toronto Area.
 
By the end of the workshop, students should be able to: 

• Evaluate their housing needs and requirements.
• Implement the steps to find housing efficiently and safely.
• Recognize signs of possible scams and implement actions to avoid them/stay safe.
• Arrange the required and recommended documents to assemble a decent rental application.
• Identify their rights and responsibilities as tenants in Toronto.
