Free 2025 tax filing appointments are available from March 31 to April 30. Book through the UTSU website.
As a member of the Canadian Federation of Students, UTSU offers free access to UFILE for students to fill out their tax returns (look for “students file free”). Use the code CFS1981 to file for free. Please review tips on how to file on UFile.
The Canada Revenue Agency also provides tax information especially tailored for the needs of students.
Remember, you must record your Social Insurance Number (SIN) on ACORN so it can be included on your Form T2202 and T4A. For those who don’t, there may be a penalty to you and the university from the Canada Revenue Agency. For more information visit the University Registrar’s Office website.
