February leadership events from Student Life

Leadership Exchange

The 2024-25 Leadership Exchange draws inspiration from Avatar: The Last Airbender, exploring leadership through the lens of balance, adaptability and purpose. Much like the Avatar harmonizes the elements of fire, earth, water and air, this theme invites participants to reflect on the essential qualities of leadership.

Over three immersive days, participants will explore these leadership qualities through engaging workshops, reflective exercises and dynamic discussions. Highlights include visiting Parliament, world-class keynote speakers, panel discussions with leaders across sectors, and somatic and visionary leadership workshops. Activities range from exploring equity and social change to skill-building in communication and conflict resolution. Participants will leave with actionable insights, deeper self-awareness, and tools to lead with balance and impact.

This will be a 3-day event during Reading Week:
  • In-person: February 18, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Hybrid: February 19, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • In-person: February 20, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Register on folio: applications are due on February 7.
