5-Buck Lunch (Tues, Nov 22)
Hart House welcomes you to the Great Hall for our popular 5-Buck Lunch! Join us for a tasty plant-based meal created by Executive Chef Marco Tucci. Menu will be posted prior to each lunch. Tickets will be available two weeks before each lunch date.

Pop Up Barbershop (Thurs, Nov 24)
Celebrate Hip Hop and look fly at the same time! What’s better than getting a trim, fade, or braid? Getting one for free at Hart House! Hart House Hip Hop Education has partnered with Fyyne to provide U of T students with a free hair service. Space is limited and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.

Financial Literacy Workshop: Own Your Financial Future (Tues, Nov 8)
In this workshop, students will learn how credit works and what debt can do to future financial plans as well as learn practical ways to take control of their finances.

Arts

Three Sisters (Oct 26 – Nov 12)
This contemporary adaptation of Chekhov’s Three Sisters explores our endless desire for meaning in an uncertain world. The play confronts what it means to be in love: with each other, with ourselves, and the people we choose to spend our lives with.

The Birds (Nov 25 – Dec 10)
The Birds is a new psychological thriller inspired by the Daphne DuMaurier short story and Alfred Hitchcock film of the same name.

Hart House Orchestra Fall Concert (Thurs, Nov 24)
The first concert of the 2022-23 season.

Hart House Singers Fall Concert (Tues, Nov 22)
The Hart House Singers will perform with in collaboration with the Canadian Navy band (HCMS York).

Film Screening: Coded Bias (Nov 16)
University of Toronto Entrepreneurship and Hart House Black Futures present a screening of the multi-award winning film Coded Bias directed by Shalini Kantayya. A critical analysis of race and the downside of implicit bias, the film questions the everyday ways that AI entrenches the status quo and reinserts the voices of racialized communities in an effort to make inclusivity a lived reality.
