Established through a generous $2 million gift from alumni Eva and Allen Lau, and hosted by the Centre for Entrepreneurship, the Catalyst Prize aims to transform promising engineering and computer science research into investment-ready ventures.
The program offers up to $70,000 in staged funding, mentorship, and access to co-working spaces, prototyping labs, and makerspaces. It targets nascent projects in computing fields, such as AI, robotics, semiconductors, and quantum technologies.
Applications are now open with a deadline of January 8, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
