E-Orientation for International TAs

Are you an incoming or current international graduate student who is interested in teaching at U of T in roles such as teaching assistants (TAs) or course instructors (CIs)?

The E-Orientation for International TAs is a program hosted on Quercus (U of T’s online learning management system) and includes a series of Q&A sessions aimed at incoming and current international graduate students.

The E-orientation features short videos, a glossary of terms and abbreviations, and other important supports related to teaching at the university that you can work through at your own pace. Topics range from how to find a TA-ship to the importance of intercultural teaching strategies in the classroom.

All questions are welcome! A live drop-in Q&A session facilitated by Graduate Educational Developers and a Learning Strategist will take place virtually on Thursday, August 25, 9 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. ET.

Presented by the Teaching Assistants’ Training Program and Student Life (Academic Success and the Centre for International Experience). Click here for details and registration.
