E-Orientation for International TAs 2021

Are you an incoming or current international graduate student who is interested in teaching at U of T in roles such as teaching assistants (TAs) or course instructors (CIs)? This program is for you!  

By joining this program, you will have access to a hub of resources on Quercus (U of T’s learning management ecosystem) and are invited to attend one or more drop-in Q&A sessions facilitated by current international teaching assistants (ITAs) during the month of July. In this e-orientation, you can access resource pages and short videos, engage in discussion boards, and learn about other important supports related to teaching at the University.   

Each Q&A session will take place from 9am – 10am Toronto time (EDT; Eastern Daylight Time) on these dates during the month of July 2021:  

  • Option #1: Thursday, July 8 
  • Option #2: Thursday, July 15 
  • Option #3: Thursday, July 22 
  • Option #4: Thursday, July 29

All questions are welcome in this space, and you can join for the full hour or until your question is answered. Please feel free to attend one or multiple sessions – there is no limit.
