The School of Graduate Studies and the Data Sciences Institute collaborate to offer the Data Science Certificate for University of Toronto doctoral students. The not-for-credit certificate provides in-demand skills in an industry that can enhance doctoral student career opportunities and includes a module on deploying AI applications, including large language models (LLMs). The Data Science Certificate content is suitable for students from a broad range of academic disciplines with no prior data science and AI experience.
The Certificate is not appropriate for doctoral students in computer science, statistics, or mathematics.
