Confronting imposterism as a racialized grad student – March 18
Are you a BIPOC student in a graduate or professional program? Do you often feel/think:
- “I don’t belong and don’t fit in.”
- “I am not good enough.”
- “I am an imposter.”
- “What is my racial identity and self-worth?”
- “I need to work extra hard as a racialized student.”
If any of these are true for you, join this workshop to learn how to confront and manage feelings of imposter phenomenon with other students of colour.
In this workshop we will unpack how racism and microaggressions perpetuate thoughts of being an imposter among students of colour. Through insightful discussion and interactive activities, you will learn practical strategies to confront and challenge the symptoms of the imposter phenomenon.
