Conflict Resolution Fundamentals: Conflict, Communication & Negotiation

When: February 14, 21 & 28, 1:30-3:30 pm

Students must attend all three sessions for GPS credit.

Presented in partnership with the Conflict Resolution Centre (CRC) for Graduate Students, this three-part series (Introduction to Conflict Resolution, Communication & Conflict, and Introduction to Negotiation) will help you understand what conflict is and learn various approaches to conflict, triggers for conflict escalation, and the role of effective communication and negotiation in conflict resolution.

You’ll have the opportunity to practice various strategies for resolving and de-escalating conflict.

Note: Starting in 2017, completion of this workshop series will be a prerequisite for graduate students wishing to apply for the G2G Peer Advisor program: see for more details.
